BISCUIT
I noticed my titles are very basic, so I thought I'd take a cue from Portishead and make it completely unrelated and therefore somewhat more interesting. But on to the matter at hand.
I love shoes from the 40s. Chunky shapes like these really complement curves, I find.
I've been dreaming of these feetsies for a while, so I'm glad some designer finally caught the vibe. Of course, it was wonderful Marc Jacobs.
Now bring back the swimwear, but not in an ovbo retro way... uck. More like the below, please! I dream about getting a tailor and just making my own clothes. Not a clothing line though... just clothes for me.

WHAT IT DO, WORLD?!
Hiya!
Neva checking in from Cairo; I'm Lola's sister and occasionally I'll be posting on the blog to mix it up a little, keep it fresh. Yep, I like fashion, but I'm also into alternative medicine, beauty, dance, traveling, languages, fine arts, make-up, world cultures, etc., so expect posts on those as well (if Lola will let me...What do you say, huh, Lola?).
Moving along. I'll let you know right now: I love color. I'm big on femininity. Silver jewelry makes my heart sing. I'm heavy into looking at what women wear everyday in the countries I visit (and the ones I don't, but spy on via internet). And if I see a trend...I tend to run the other way! Not sure why, but 'tis so, y'all. Soooooooo, check out a few photos that make me smile:
Enjoy! Happy weekend, folks ;0).

Mally Roncal is a makeup artist who's famous for creating dewy skin on top celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé Knowles. She's got her own (inevitable) line of beauty products as well, which look to be quite good. Here are the products I'm interested in trying.

SHIMMER, SHAPE AND GLOW
This product attracted me to the brand in the first place-- this little compact combines three colours in one. You get a hilighter, a contour and a blusher in one place that's tailored to your skin tone. Good idea there.
CANCELLATION CONCEALER SYSTEM
When I saw the orangey colour on this baby, I knew it was a go. If you've got brown skin, a concealer with orange undertones is perfect for undereye circles or imperfections. Just look at the color wheel if you don't believe me -- orange and blue are directly opposite one another, which means they cancel one another out.
PERFECTING POWDER
I think the packaging here is so sweet-- how much fun would it be to touch up your face on the go with a teeny powder puff? I'd never be shiny again....
GET CHEEKY DEWY BLUSH
Dewy cheeks are my favourite, and Mally promises to deliver them with consistency.
