This is him with the incredible, late Eartha Kitt (RIP Eartha :(((( ).


You know him as the mastermind behind Target, but did you know he was the star of a documentary which chronicles the creation of a collection? It includes his inspiration, designing, fittings, and runway show. All the supermodels are in it, in all their 90s glory: from Linda Evangelista, Naomi Cambell, Kate Moss, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Giselle.... pretty much everyone ... oh Amber Valetta.... Shalom Harlowe... so... everyone. :D

Paris is Burning
This film isn't strictly about the fashion industry. Instead, it's about men who are serious about fashion-- gay african american men in Harlem, NYC in the 90s. This is the bittersweet tale of the beginning of fashion voguing (a-la Madonna, a-la Benny Ninja from the House of Ninja on ANTM). These men have difficult lives but use fashion and balls as a way to escape and create a fantasy world where they feel safe and fabulous.
